La maestra Rocío Bárcena Molina, exalumna de la ENMJN y una figura destacada de la educación en México, sumó recientemente un logro más en su carrera al ser nombrada integrante del Consejo Técnico de Educación del Organismo para la Mejora Continua. Este cuerpo colegiado —que sustituye al desaparecido Instituto Nacional para la Evaluación de la Educación— tiene por objetivo establecer nuevos criterios no punitivos de diagnóstico y desarrollo docente con el fin de ofrecer a los millones de estudiantes del país alternativas que fomenten la equidad y la calidad educativa.

Para hacer frente a este importante desafío, el Senado de la República eligió, de entre decenas de aspirantes, a siete candidatos con el perfil más adecuado. Bárcena Molina, quien durante cincuenta años se ha desempeñado como docente, además de participar en la elaboración de materiales académicos y el diseño de planes de estudio para las diferentes licenciaturas en educación, fue una de las seleccionadas.

“Es un honor que el Senado de la República me otorgue este nombramiento —declaró la maestra a diferentes medios—. Dedico este logro a mi madre, una educadora extraordinaria y un gran ejemplo para mí”.

La comunidad de la Escuela Nacional para Maestras de Jardines de Niños la felicita ampliamente y le desea que continúe esta brillante carrera de éxitos en pro de una mejor educación en nuestro país. Nos sentimos todos orgullosos. ¡Muchas felicidades!♦
